  1. 12 months is a great age to start, that is when my sisters husband started introducing their boys to sports (not just one but many) and they do great.  My one nephew is 6 years old and plays baseball and football and basketball, my other nephew is 2 years old and already knows a lot about sports too.  I would say at 12 months start introducing sports, or you can even have him watch baseball with you even around 6 months for a few minutes to start getting him interested.  My step-dad did that with my boys and nascar lol now they both say they want to race cars someday lol what a scary thought for a mom lol.

  2. hahaha, this question got me laughing. I didn't have time to even think of these things when mine was that young.

get them used to balls and catching objects (rolled at them gently of course ) as early as you want. hand/foot- eye coordination helps in every sport

  3. First he needs to know how to walk, run, hold things (ie a bat or ball or glove), catch a ball, throw a ball, and so much more, before you can even begin to teach baseball. He's 8 weeks old, don't be in such a hurry for the baseball! When he's walking unassisted, you can play at tossing a soft ball (not a softball, a ball that is soft). When he can catch and throw, you can introduce a wide, big plastic bat with a giant wiffle ball and a T to hit from. But really, don't expect him to be able to hit a gently and perfectly pitched ball until he's 2 or 3. Baby steps, for everything. And prepare yourself, because you do have expectations for him, you already are hoping/planning to teach him baseball, but he might just be a kid who doesn't like sports or baseball. Please just enjoy watching him grow and let him, when he's older, let you know what he enjoys (and little ones go through phases, so he might like bugs today and balls tomorrow and cats the next week and eventually he may come to like baseball).

  4. You could start to introduce him to a baseball as young as 6 months just roll it back and forth to him and by 10-11 months he should be able to throw it (not well). I would wait until he has his walking down pat and is steady on his feet before you take him out and try to teach him to hit the ball though but you never know you could have a genius on your hands. The earlier you introduce things the quicker they pick them up....good luck:)

  5. when he can understand how to throw and catch.. please best answer me!
