  1. My daughter is only 10mnths but i take her to playgroups so she interacts with other kids...When i started to take her i could see her studing the other kids and ebjoyed been ther althou she was very clingy to me she still liked it

  2. all my kids started preschool at age 3 and went two days per week 2 1/2 hours each time. I feel it was good for their social development and getting ready for school skills. My middle son was on the shy side as a small child and after going to preschool he really came out of his shell a lot.

  3. I have my child in a couple of playgroups--groups where mothers and children get together--and a nursery at church. I have been doing this since she was 18 months old. She really benefits from interactions with other children--she really loves it! At this age however I still am close at hand or still there. When she is older I might do something else, who knows? but she does come away from interactions with other kids having learned new things. It's very cute!

  4. I have an aunt that had a baby, and i had seen her baby grow up, until the baby was 3, he wouldn't talk, he would be really shy, about the first month in nursery, he would talk talk talk and talk and never be quiet! Drove me insane! Lol but they learn ALOT faster, and learn BETTER than staying home with their parents and be around the same group everyday, the sooner the better.
