How soon will the govt release what really happened at ROSWELL?

what is the latest?---any informed website to help me?----I want facts--best and most helpful answer will win me over.

Probably never. The chief fear in all of this is the mass hysteria of the people. Issues ranging from religious issues to just plain fear of anything that is not easily explained. Do I personally believe that a craft from another extra-terrestrial civilization crashed at Roswell, yes, I do. Mostly because the explanations given just do not add up. The problem is, it's their word against that of anyone else. Plausible deniability is rampant in all of this. If the government ever releases anything, it would likely be sometime around 50 years from now, and probably so watered down as to still make no sense to anyone.

I suspect that everybody associated in any way with Roswell will have to be dead (this way no one can be held accountable) before any additional information (via the government) is released about Roswell.

Even if Roswell has a normal explanation (my most skeptical theory is a top secret naval experiment crashed and the Army Air Corp didn't want to be embarrassed at misidentifying a Top Secret Naval experiment and so covered everything up) the information will still not be forthcoming until everyone is dead.

It is also possible that all the men and women involved in this incident had the records destroyed and took (or will take) whatever the secret is with them to their graves.

The government (in particular the military) has never been a reliable source of information on anything from Roswell to Weapons of Mass Destruction.

So, I'll give you an actual prediction. As soon as the US has a  "government of the people, by the people, for the people” (Lincoln) we will know the truth.

It did that about ten years ago. Were you asleep?

A balloon went down which was used to measure acoustic events in the stratosphere. The contraption had large area disk microphones on it (which later became "flying saucers") and was held together by a lightweight packaging tape used on children's toys (alien "hyroglyphics").

Back then, of course, the project was very secret because nobody wanted the Russians to know that we could detect their nuclear tests.

I love the truth. It is so fantastic (and well documented) that the paranoid people will never get it.

Did no one see this on tv? One of the men who saw every thing told his family all about it right before he died. It wasn't very long ago..maybe a few months. I don't know how to check on this. It's probably not on the internet yet.
