  1. It depends if we get another mason for president in 08

  2. The EU is an organization of the European countries. The Americas have the "Organization of American States" , also known as the OAS, main office at the Pan American Building in Washington , D.C.. The OAS steps in many times to settle problems between 'American' countries, but unlike the EU, they do not yet have a unified monatary system like EU's Euros. It will be a while before the OAS will control the nationalism of the member countries, so as to issue a unite monatary value.

  3. Never. It will never again be possible to gather a group of nations together with the US as part of that group, unless of course the earth is in imminent danger of being hit by an astroid or aliens land.  In that case all of the nations of the world will come running to us to hide behind Lady Liberty's skirts.

  4. That depends. It is happening now. Don't wait for a formal treaty or big announcement. The Canadian armed forces are now effectively under U.S. direction via NORTHCOM.

The North American Union is proceeding via yearly meetings of the 'Three Amigos,' like the recent Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP) summit in Montebello, Quebec (at which police posed as protesters, attempting unsuccessfully to create a confrontation).

There are also many working groups creating policy under the framework of the SPP, as the project is proceeding not via discussion in legislatures but by nibbling away at the regulatory frameworks of all three countries, undermining democracy by stealth. There is a famous quote by Richard Gardner, writing for the Council on Foreign Relations in 1974: "an end run around sovereignty, eroding it piece by piece, will accomplish much more than the old-fashioned frontal assault."

The documents "Building a North American Community" and "North American Future 2025 Project" should give us a pretty good idea of where we are headed.

The one advisory board to the SPP is the North American Competitiveness Council, made up of 35 big business leaders who, unlike elected representatives, community and environmental organizations, the press, and the public at large, were privileged to attend the closed-door summit this August. Considering that the first summit was held in Waco, Texas only in 2005, this is going very fast indeed.

There is an official SPP site with a page of 'Myths vs 'Facts.' This has been recently updated.

You can find leaked secret documentation at Judicial Watch and the Council of Canadians.

The best hope is people being aware of the situation and then acting to stop it, as many state legislatures and citizen's groups are beginning to do. Nothing like some sunshine to dispel creatures who hide in the dark.
