  1. At the end of summer... That should be the bottom, or close to the bottom, of the recession.

  2. I don't believe I would for at least a couple of years if that soon.  With their purchase of Countrywide, they are asking for even more trouble than they currently have.  That could cost them billions.  Better wait and see what shakes out.

  3. Now.  With a 10 percent dividend yield (best in the Dow) and a 15 percent earnings yield, with long term bonds at 4 percent.  I think its a good value.

  4. I would wait for one more "leg down" in the general market and the Dow Jones financial.  Then you are going to be about as close to the bottom as guy or gal can get.  It is going to be a long wait for the financial, generally, to bounce back.  You sound like you plan to be a long term investor in BAC.   Think it would be safe to wait for one more step down.  Caution:  I would not expect the dividend to remain at its present rate.  Good luck.

  5. buy the banks that Warren Buffett buys

      worlds greatest investor not you

  6. Don't make this one a hard question? When real estate prices begin to rise uniformly again. Avoid stocks that are in a deflationary environment.
