How sore is the tragus piercing????

Question

Im gonna get my tragus done on friday, and i just wanted to know how sore its gonna be and how bad it hurts the next day cause iv got a night out...so if its gonna hurt bad, ill get it done after saturday but my preference would be friday

Hi, iv had both of mine done in the past(not at the same time) and neither were sore at the time but both got so swollen i couldnt hear and had to get them  removed, ive had various different ones over the years with no problems, this must be a sensitive area for me. I love the look of them though but as someone said they are a bit of a pain in the *** when your sleeping and wearing headphones but give it a go anyway...Good luck

it hurts like a ***** and i recommend a prince albert instead, it feels much better and you get some pleasure out of someone handling your meat, DO NOT DO IT IM WARNING YOU! ITS LIKE DEATH! prince albert all the way dude

DON'T!  DON'T!  DON'T!  A THOUSAND TIMES DON'T!  It will hurt!  I saw somebody's tongue getting pierced and I don't know how painful it was for him, but blood was drooling out of his mouth.  DON'T GET YOUR TONGUE PIERCED!  NO MATTER WHAT!

i had mine pierced and i hardly felt it its not bad...the only thing that hurts is the clamps. but it will hurt a while after if you hit it on anything or sleep on it. i ended up taking mine out after a year cause headphones hurt and were really annoying to wear

I have 17 piercings and my tragus hurt the most! I got my industrial at the same time and it was easier... but the tragus... oh god. I love it (had it 9 months and it still needs to be cleaned everyday though..) but if it ever grew back I wouldn't get it done again. Then again, my best friend said hers didn't hurt at all yet her belly button did, but my belly button didn't. This makes me think that everyone must be totally different. I'd say go for it if you really want it. DO NOT SLEEP ON IT for like a month or so. Seriously, don't. And clean it a LOT!

Apparently some people on here don't know what that is. Maybe they thought you meant a tounge piercing. Anyway for those who dont know, its a piercing on the tragus which is located by the ear. Anyhow, the tragus doesn't have any nerve endings but some people still experience pain. It varies from person to person. The people I know that have one, didn't complain of any pain. Just make sure you clean it frequently and don't hit it/rub it against anything such as your cell phone.

Trust me it doesnt hurts at all.

just becareful when you wipe your hair after showering as the towel might hook onto the stud.. I suggest to change to those ring type of stud after it heals =)

I had mine done 2 sunday's ago and I've had no problems...The day after it was a little more sensitive to the touch and i wasnt able to fully turn it without it "feeling" sore...so i just cleaned around it and left it alone....I avoided sleeping on the new piercing and now 2 weeks later it moves around freely and is not longer even sensitive....If you are worried about going out that night, you will be fine just make sure not to hit it by accident and clean it really good when you get home :)  This was almost the least painful piercing i have had other than my first lobe piercing.....And its super cute!!!!!    Good Luck

it hardly hurts at all, as long as you don't touch it or bump it you'll be fine
