How stale is American Idol?

Are people finally over this lame fad?

I can't stand American Idol anymore. All the season are just the same. I didn't watch last season and I don't plan on watching the next season.

i loved it before, but then i was over it two seasons ago lol.

i bet anything this will be the final season.

It's definitely stale.  They need to change the format or something and make the shows more entertaining.  I think having them play instruments is good.  Maybe they should axe the theme nights and just let them perform what they like.

They also have Canadian Idol, Australian Idol, Philippine Idol, Britians got talent, and the list goes on and on.

It's been almost ten years now and the ratings for American Idol are the some of the highest in the country when its on air.

As long as they are selling commercials and get millions of views it will never become a fad.
