How strict are they on Carnival cruise ships about checking ID?

I am going on a cruise over SB and was wondering how strict they are on Carnvial cruise ships about checking ID. My friend and I are both 18 but my other friend is only 17. Will she be able to get into clubs such as "Disco?"

It all depends on the crowd on the ship.  There will be security guards at the door, you may want to chat with them before hand to get on their good side.  I've seen them let some in and stop others.

I went on a cruise with my high school class to mexico.  They said the drinking age on the ship was eighteen, I was seventeen and they never checked me.  As long as you act like a mature adult and don't run around with underwear on your head you will be fine.  Most ships have a drinking age of eighteen.

On all cruise lines they are very, very (may I repeat VERY!) strict about checking ID's. your friend is too young to get into any bars or clubs. you have to be at least 18. I suggest you wait another year and wait until you guys can all have fun together.
