  1. I had a job in mind and went to the corporation's website and applied.  I did get the job (and love it!) but I did have to follow up a few days after I applied to make sure the the application was being processed.

    Best wishes to you!

  2. tons of people called me after using monster.com i found a job in a week

  3. I honestly hate the fact that so many employers have gone to the system of applying online, i believe you can't tell diddly about an app online, that you have to meet someone in person, i have applied online but after doing so, i show up at the place introduce myself and if it is somewhere i want to work i continue calling and stopping in, also when applying online rarely did they contact me first i have had to call and let them know ive sent my application. good luck to you,

  12. I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are applicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

  13. I got my last 2 nanny jobs from online. It takes a while for the employers to go through all the resumes and emails they get. It could take anywhere from a day to a week. Ive had call backs from 2 hours after I applied. It all depends on the site you use and the employers.

  14. NO success!!!
