How tall can a irish wolfhound get?

I don't know about the exact height or anything. I just know at the Dublin Irish Festival in Dublin, Ohio, their owners standing by them (most of which were really tall) looked a bit short, lol

Irish Wolfhounds are the world's tallest breed of dog(think its based on an average), although they are gentle giants! : ) The tallest recorded Irish Wolfhound was 100 cm only 7cm shorter than the current worlds tallest dog.

85 to 90 centimeters (33 to 36 inches) in males, 5 to 10 centimeters (2 to 4 inches) less for females.

Don't know for sure but they are the world's tallest dog breed. My neighbor had one and when the dog jumped up on me he could look me straight in the eye (and I'm 6 feet tall). According to the American Kennel Club the males should be no less than 32 inches tall and no less than 120 pounds.
