How tall do you have to be to fly! (in the air force)?

  1. here in the UK I'm sure it is in between 5'4" and 6'6" (this is for men so women's heights are obviously shorter)

    you should be ok, what is your height?

    I think it's more important that you have a good reach of the controls (thats what they say)

Its not so much how tall you are standing up  . . . you have to be at least 34" sitting, otherwise you are too small for the cockpit and won't have the wingspan(sorry, couldn't help it) to reach around.  For most people that translates to 5'2 to 5'3.  However, your height is in your back that's to your advantage.  They measure from the seat up.

  5. I seem to remember the limits are 5'3" to 6'3".

  6. Not that tall, 5'2 or so.
