I'm six foot two and so I have a board that goes just above my chest. Is that considered too small?

  1. Yep at your chin. I have a friend who has two boards - a short one that's her park board and thats all she uses it for, and then a longer one for the rest of the mountain! :)

    I'm five ten, and I ride a 154.

  2. Don't listen to the people above to a degree. Size of a board DOES matter. But more importantly you should choose your board based on your weight. Every board comes in a specific size. The size board you get should depend on your weight. So check into what size your board is, and if it fits your weight. But as the people above state, a board near your chest might be a bit small

  3. you want it below the nose

  4. usually around your chin to your nose. I just bought a board today

12/15/07 I'm 5'2 and I got a 145 cm which is a little too big but they said I'd grow in to it

  5. you generally want it right at or a little below your chin.  The smaller it is the easier it will be to maneuver

  6. a good size board is between the bottom of your chin to about above your eyebrows. so no that is probably a good size for you. I am 4'11 and I want a 135cm... When I went snowboarding saturday 12/8/07 I rented a 130cm, and that was good but I think I would want a 135cm so I can control the board easier. Whatever feels comfortable on you should be good.
