How tall is an afl goalpost?

There is probably a preferred height but infact a goal is still awarded even if the ball sails over the height of the post.

AFL goal posts are a minimum height of 6 metres and Behind posts are a minimum height of 3 metres.  All posts are padded to a height of 2 metres. For an extra bit of info for ya the posts are each set 6.4 metres apart.

There is also talk of making the minimum height taller so there is less inaccuracy when the ball goes over the posts.
