How tall is too tall?

I am 5'8 and i went to a salsa club. There were about 7 guys in our group. 2 or 3 were my height or taller. Nobody asked me to dance. and its not that im ugly all the guys were flirting with me and i got all seven numbers (some of them we are just goin to be friends). but the one i really thought was good looking kept staring at me and when i was talking to his friends kept coming into the conversation. but he is a little shy and laid back. Did my height intimidate him? i think we were the same height.

I'm 5'5" tall and I'll go out with a taller woman and it don't phase me at all! You have to have confidence! I don't things bother me!

mmm no probably not, im 5'8" too, and my husband and i are the same height, he just feels weird when i wear heels, but i dont think the height thing bothered him....

Okay, as a guy who is 6'3 tall anything under 5'5 is UNattractive. I LOVE tall girls, in fact, i will only date tall girls. Short girls don't have nice figures and nice legs like tall girls do.

I think longer legs look more feminine than short stubby legs.

The guys that only like midgets (5'3 and under) are insecure and need a midget to feel bigger and more of a "man" lol.

I'm 5'6", but i don't think 5'8" is too tall. Once you get into 5'10" and up it gets harder for some girls. The problem is that many guys are around 5'10" and feel uncomfortable with tall girls. Our culture perpetuate these idea on TV and in the movies by always having small women with tall men. But this is not the norm. Just look at Kattie Homes and Tom Cruise.

As the mother of a very tall girl (5'11") I can tell you that most men are intimidated by women taller or even as tall as themselves.  Were you wearing heels?  If so, you appeared taller than most of the guys in your group, I would guess.  Hate to say this, but you will need to learn to wear flats and also clothing that helps to visually make you seem a little shorter.

no 68 is not tall at all, my gf is 68 and im only 2 inches taller than her. I dont judge any woman by her height unless she is over 6 ft tall. I have no problem if she is wearing high heels neither just makes her more beautiful :)

If you're interested, just approach him next time. Your height probably does intimidate him, but if it doesn't bother you go for it. Sometimes i think guys wish we would make the first move so that they won't feel rejected. You don't have to marry him, but i think showing interest will give him more confidence for now, and for the future. Who knows, he may secretly be your type.

me personally im not usually into tall chicks cuz im not that tall (5'8") but i know short dudes that like tall girls cuz people assume that if you short but bagged a tall girl, then you got big meat lmao (real talk...i aint lyin about this).I think a perfect hight would be around 5'5" ish, but its when you get into the 5'10" region where things get tough because the average man is 5'8" lol

Also, its kinda hard to dance with a tall girl if you aint tall yourself, so that mighta been a reason.

That is a very good and pretty height. Not too short, not too tall.

i expect guys not to think how tall you are....but how attractive and nice you are...which i expect highly of both!!!
