I am 15 1/2 years old, male, and i am between 6'3'' and 6'4''. I do a lot of weight lifting i go to the gym almost everyday and try to work different parts of my body everyday. I have gotten stretch marks from getting taller before when i was 13. I am pretty sure i already had two growth spurts from earlier before. NOw i have noticed that my height has stayed the same. Could it be that i am done growing?

  1. You may not be finished growing yet.  You have at least 5 more years of growth potential left.  Will it matter all that much to you if you do grow another inch taller?  You could end up not being able to find slacks or jeans off the rack to buy - and have to have them tailored.  I have a friend that's 6'6" & has to buy the material & have a tailor make his slacks because ready made one's aren't long enough.  At any rate, accept what God blesses you with & get on with the rest of your life.  Study hard & get a good education & enjoy your teen years.  They go by way too fast to worry about things you have no control over.  Good Luck.

  2. 2 growth spurts during puberty usually means your down growing.

  3. Lots of people stop growing at 15 or 16.  I stopped growing at 14 and my brother at 15. If you really want to guess how tall you'll be look at your dad and add 2 or 3 inches. My dad was 5'11'' and I'm 6'2'' and my son will probably be 6'4'' or 6'5''.

  4. If you stop weight lifting you could be anywhere from 6'4-6'5+.

plz dont listen to ryan  k, weights compress you and you shrink especially when ur spine is still young, flexable and hasnt finished growing. The only good thing about weights is it creates GH but it doesnt go to ur height usually it only goes to ur muscles.

  5. it could be but most likely not. you might still grow another 1/2 inch or so until you reach the age of 21 is when you will definitly stop growing.

  6. dont listen to that c**p about weightlifting stunting your growth, that

"myth" has long since proven false. just get good sleep and eat nutritiousl and youll grow to your full potential.remember that everyone is different and you may have stopped growing or you may have a few inches left. just live healthily and youll be fine.
