right my skin tone is semi dark. im not PALE; but im not worthy of anyone going WHOA shes tan.

I live in Iowa; to let you know what kind of rays im getting.

  1. We are not weathermen. It depends on the strength of the sun's rays as well if the sun is even out in that week. You can get a tan, yes but you can also get cancer.

  2. dont lay out!

you are just asking for skin cancer!

  3. yereryry

  4. i am tan and i really like it i would say lay on a hot place at the pool and lay on a chair but the chair first because the ground does do a lot of tan so you do not want a stamp from the chair while you are tanning

                               hope you tan soon

  5. vaseline tanner lotion thing, just slap it on and I think you should get a tan in a week.

  6. the cancer tan.

all the rage underground. theyre too s**y to get out of their coffins, though.

  7. I lost a friend last year to skin cancer- so I've tried to be out less than before. So here is what I do: (I still like a tan).

I lay out one day, using like a bronzing sunscreen (like an 8 spf). Be sure to cover more tender parts with 30 spf or higher. I go home, and a couple hours before showering- I put on Dove energy glow - dark skin. Shower off 2 hours later.

Next day- repeat. Repeat this as long as you have until travel day.

You;ll be brown as a berry, and only half will be from the harmful rays. :)

  8. use a sunless tanner and continue to lay out in the sun. the lotion keeps you from getting burned and sun cancer. i recommend you buy the jergens brand.

  9. you can use a protective tanning lotion like one with spf 8 from bannana boat is good so you won't burn and lay out for about 25 30 minutes and keep checking to see if your burning if you are go in or put on a stronger sfp

too much tanning and burning is bad for your skin so always use some type of protection but don't think tanning is all that bad while tanning your body produces vitamin D and if you have a nice tan your less likey to burn....
