How the 2011-2012 playoffs’ picture will be different from the last NBA season? (Part-5)

Indiana Pacers:
The Indiana Pacers could be facing some serious problems in the next playoffs’ battle. The Pacers did qualify in the post season of 2010-2011 season with a winning average of 0.451, but playing against the Chicago Bulls in the
very first round was a tough task as they lost bitterly. The Bulls’ easily overpowered the Pacers and went ahead in the competition.
The Pacers’ inconsistency is the real problem. They played a very good last regular season but as soon as they grabbed the number 8th spot in the Eastern Conference, they could not perform with total consistency and
failed to advance in the post season. Currently the Pacers have some very good players including Danny Granger, Darren Collison, Roy Hibbert, and especially Tyler Hansbrough and George Hill. These all players have to do a combined effort next season to help
their team to advance into the playoffs.
New York Knicks:
The New York Knicks do not have any serious issues advancing into the post season next year. Last season too, they showed some very good spirit and advanced through to the post season. The Knicks finished 6th overall
in the Eastern Conference with a winning average of 0.512.
The inclusion of Carmelo Anthony last season was another very promising factor for the Knicks as they did well but the next season could be more demanding and they have to come up with a different strategy and try to gain much
benefit from Carmelo Anthony’s tremendous talent. Amar’e Stoudemire is another very good player in the Knicks’ roster that will also try to help his team to reach the later stages of the 2011-2012 season.
Atlanta Hawks:

The Atlanta Hawks has always impressed with their consistence performance. The depth in their roster has always proved helpful in getting the desired goals. Last season, the Hawks overpowered the Orlando Magic in the first round
playoffs and qualified for the Conference semi-finals. Though, the Hawks were beaten in the second round by the Chicago Bulls but still they played with full energy and stretched the Bulls into six games.
If the next season gets started on time, the Hawks certainly will play in the post season. They have some very good players who have always played the best game for the Hawks. It is also possible that the Hawks’ might not reach
the ultimate stages of the competition but playing in playoffs will not be a hard task for them.
Philadelphia 76res:
Last season, the Philadelphia 76ers finished seventh in the Eastern Conference with a winning average of 0.500 and qualified for the first round playoffs. Last season’s run into the post season relatively proved easy for the 76ers
but the next season will be a tough one. The other NBA teams are also preparing very hard especially the Charlotte Bobcats could give them some serious competition for the playoffs berth.
Though, the Bobcats finished 10th overall in the Eastern Conference but the next NBA season will be fascinating to watch as 76ers and Bobcats will battle for the playoff spot.
Chicago Bulls:
The Chicago Bulls won record 62 games last season and qualified for the playoffs as top Eastern Conference side. The Bulls’ young sensation Derrick Rose certainly led his team throughout the whole season and won the Most Valuable
Player (MVP) award for his brilliant performance.
Though, the Bulls lost in the Conference finals but overall their team did very well in the 2010-2011 season and now looking very determined to repeat that kind of performance once again in 2011-2011 season.
