  1. They look like any other regular person. What did you think they looked like?

  2. ??? Green and with big ants

No, really, Just like the average European. It's like some people say that Southern Spaniards are dark. Well, why of my best friends is Andalusian and she's awfully pale with big blue eyes. My cousin married a man from Málaga and his brothers are both blond. It's not as if centuries ago Muslims made children with Cristians, so people in the South are not particularly  darker. I would say Catalonians look like the average Central-South European, not different from French, Italian or Portuguese.

The main difference between areas in Spain is the clothes and style. Usually Southern women tend to take lot's of care of themselves, lot's of makeup, high heels and stuff. People in Catalonia are a generally more informal and modern.

  3. Generally, they look like people, unless you meet the aliens.

There really isn't a type, but if you have to classify them, they're sort of a mixture of French and Spanish, (not typically Andaluz, but central Spanish), with some other European mixed in.  Barcelona and the surround have ALWAYS been a gateway to Spain from the rest of Europe, so there's more mixing of all sorts there.  Makes for great food, art, etc.
