Hi, The question I have is what is done on a G test? I know its a G2 Exit test and involves a highway but what are other things that occur during the test? also what happens if a person fails the test? do they have to repay the $75 to retake it? can they take it at another drive test center?

Thanks.

  1. During mine, I had to drive and get on and off the highway, switch lanes, on city streets had to do a 3 pt turn, and park on a hill.. that was it.. took maybe 10mins.. not even.

If they fail they have to redo the test, pay the $75, you can take it at the same center or another one. doesnt matter just have to rebook it.

  2. well you get on the highway, switch lanes (don't forget your blind spot) 3 point turn, parellel park.  What they look for is to make sure you can observe properly.  When you come to an intersection (even if you have the green) make sure they see you turn your head to make sure the other traffic has stopped for thedir red light.  If someone is sitting at a driveway waiting to enter traffic make sure you attempt to make quick eye contact so they see you etc etc.

If you fail you do have to repay and you can't take it at another centre unless you have moved.  Don't worry though, the G test is oddly enough a whole lot easier than the G2.  Maybe because you are more experienced by that point.

    Good luck!
