I don't think there's any conclusive proof of how it works

As for frogs that calls out before a rain, its because of the atmosphere humidity. Note that it don't always rain when the frog calls out. This is because when the clouds rolls in, and its on the verge of raining, humidity goes up. However, it doesn;t always rain even when humidity increases.

So, as we can see there, the frogs are just responding to its surrounding changes.

see,  animals are very clear that they detect seismic or groundborne waves, some of which may travelling at infrasound wavelengths.  The God gave the animals special knowing power. How, ?  one day on my early age, i gone to a big shadow tree, where i with my friends will play. one of my friends began to climb over the tree, surprisingly you believe or not several lizards, even some snakes immediately jumped over the other trees, even my friend only tried..not climbed..such a nature which are all having.  Animals could have listened in three demensionally and gauged that not coming from a point of view/souce and of severe magnitude, which meant their best bet for safety.  The dogs has the power.   Even, they behave uneasily, running here and there, since it is all in a big cage.  Elephants has got powers similarly, but sadly we notice their acts as uncommon but no predictions of disaster from human side is a sad thing.

Animals also have five senses but they have one or more senses which have much higher sensitivity and therefore they can sense very finer things like sound,smell,vision etc.This may be one of the reason why they are able to sense coming disaster.

No animals dont have power to know coming disasters. I mean sometimes they do posses because they are not as developed as humans and if humans have some extraordinary capabilities in their comparison, they too have to have some. Now humans have identified some animals whose reduction in number in particular area or rise in some species indicate some disaster rolling up.
