I'm a student in Hong Kong which is about to go study in Bellevue Community College in fall. I'm planning to get to the University through degree transfer path. As I'm thinking of taking Biochemistry Engineering as my major in my 3rd and 4th year university, I know that Georgia Tech's got a very good reputation in Engineering , I really wish I can get myself there. However I heard from others that there's a tiny tiny chance if I wanna get a transfer across state. Should I stop dreaming or are there any better suggestions ? Thanks , fellas in the States

  1. Well since GT is a state school, they majority of their students have to be Georgia residents by law.  Therefore, it is very competative to get a place as an international student, since you are competing with students all around the world.  You Gpa would have to be greater than 3.8 for them to even consider you.

Also, there is no such thing as Biochemistry Engineering.  Do you mean chemical engineering or Bioengineering?  Or perhaps Biomedical Engineering?
