  1. When there is a constant in a child's life, it helps to make that child more secure.  A more secure child will feel more comfortable exploring his surroundings and will often be rewarded for his/her curiosity.

Having a stable and consistent schedule helps the child know that his expectations will be met.  He/she will know that there will be meals, that there will be clean clothes, and a hygiene routine.  Hopefully there will be a time to play outside and/or with other children.  And there will be a time to learn by participating with a parent or caretaker.

Having stability provides a child with comfort.

  2. it sounds like you're doing a paper.. I suggest get on the ball and do it!

  3. Sounds like someone forgot to do their research.  I will just offer this analogy and let you work from there.  To give too much information would be unethical.

Imagine planting 2 seeds in 2 different pots.  The first pot, we provide it with sunlight, water, maybe a little bit of plant food from the store.  The 2nd pot, we continually dig it up, move it from sunlight to shade at irregular times, take out the seed and examine it.  We water it "whenever we feel like it."  Which one is going to grow better?  Why?  (Think of this in relation to the importance of environment)

Please tell me you are not looking for direct answers and an easy way to write this paper.  If you are, please tell me education is not your major in college.

    Good luck with it!

    Matt
