  1. The incubation temperature of the eggs determines the s*x of the gator. Eggs incubated at 90 to 93 degrees turn out to be males, and eggs incubated at 82 to 86 degrees hatch as females. Temperatures in between those ranges give both sexes.

    If you're asking how to tell the s*x, there is a way to manually evert the sexual organs to tell the s*x. They are not probed like a snake as the first answerer suggested. Here's a link showing how to do it:

  3. Only through probing. Basically, you shove a stick in the alligator's a**s and the s*x is determined by how far the probe enters until it is blocked by the male p***s.

    It's much more precise and complicated than that, so please don't try it yourself. ^^
