How the heck did that chinese girl get 3rd in the pommel horse, while alicia sacromone got 4th!?

i didnt watch the womens gymnastics single event finals for the pommel horse but i read the write up on it, according to the write up the chinese girl fell once and alicia sacromone didnt fall at all but the chinese girl still beat her! thats outrageous, i blame it on the stupid biased judging, but i didnt watch, can anyone tell me what really happened?

Pommel horse is a mens event. I do not know if you are talking about beam or vault so I can not help you. Sorry.
