How the heck do i close fire fox to download flash player or uninstall fire fox?

i can't uninstall it at all because it says i need to close fire fox. how do u close it if it's downloaded in to ur computer i can't download the flash player either because of the same thing what do i just leave fire fox on here?? how do u do it??

You click the little X in the top corner of your screen. Its closed, not running now.
