  2. It is rough morphological classification of plants depends on height. Herbs----from Cm's-- Mt Shrubs----more in  height but much branched Trees --- many mt rs.

  3. Trees shrubs and some herbs all share woody  development and after the second year begin to lignify older cells into wood with annular rings or woody stems. These plants do not die down to the basal plate each year but retain a perennial  structure above ground. Herbs in this group are rosemary, thyme, lavender and sage.

    Other plants are herbaceous meaning they die back to the ground. Plant like this are culinary herbs not woody herbs. Culinary herbs are chives, mint, and sorrel. These plants never grow a woody perennial stem but die down to a basal crown at the soil line.

  4. They all belong to plant kingdom. They are with roots, stem, leaves, inflorescence, flowers, fruits and seeds.  The size varies of the plants varies and they are roughly classified on the basis of their size into herb, shrub and tree.
