  1. To be precise, it boils, absorbing heat in the process of vaporizing.  That's why the tank feels cold as the LPG is being used.


  2. It evaporates when the pressure is released.

  3. It is not petroleum . In the gas spectrum the main one is methane . It is strange but methane will only compress a Little. Then there is butane and propane which will compress and convert to a cold liquid. As the pressure is released more of the liquid will change back to gas .
