  1. Yes, go to the Post Office. You had better do it soon if you want it to get there before Christmas.

  2. you will have to go to the post office to get it wieghed and they will tell you the correct price

  3. It's really annoying in this country; there is no fixed amount that you pay for each destination abroad.

The easiest way is to go to a Post Office, they weigh the letter for you and sell you the stamps on the spot.

If you have scales that are accurate enough, such as kitchen scales, then you can work it out yourself by checking the 'Welcome to Royal Mail' website.  They do the search online for you: you enter destination, format of letter and weight; they give you the result which is the price to pay in stamps.

  4. Yep. Only the local Post Office can help you on that one because it may depend on the weight of the letter and the 'zone' it is going to.

You can just enquire about the price if you are worried it might cost more than you have with you. For an airmail letter from Malaysia it shouldn't be too expensive.

  5. For a standard weight letter or card it's 44p. Buy a "First class Large" rate stamp

  6. Go to the post office and get an exact amount. Pay for your postage there on the spot. I think that would be your best move.

  7. you need it weighed and air-mail
