  1. A minimum of 4 inches thick, consistent across the entire body of water.


  2. I'd say at least 6 inches thick. If it is any thinner you take the risk of falling through. it also depends on how big the teenager is. It  will probably hold if it is 5 or 6 iches thick. But remeber if you hear cracking then get off.

  3. 4 inches for any person actually. Thicker for snowmobiles and trucks.
