  1. A windshield is actually 2 pieces of glass with plastic between them to keep them together when they shatter. If a person punches through one he would have to be on some serious drugs and would only have a stump left for a arm afterwards.

  2. I'd guess about a 1/4" thick, but the average person can't punch through it because it's tempered glass.

  3. You should not be able to punch through a car windshield.  Hitting a deer is what goes throuh a car windshield, not a fist.

  4. nope its glass

  5. The windshield of a automobile has to meet specific certifications. Safety glass (windshield)consist of a rubberized plastic between 2 glass for safety.

  6. No

  7. about 1/4 inch and someone might but they may break a hand, and i doubt it will penetrate all the way. Someone tried to shoot me in 1992 with 12 guage  with #4 small game shot standing at front bumper maybe 6 feet away and amazingly only three pellets made it to me of course i was headin for the passenger floor board but the safety glass only sagged in, it was a 1986 ford ranger, the windshield is stronger than you think, dont try it.

  8. Around 1/4 inch with plastic laminated between 2 layers of glass.

    Probably not with one shot.

  9. No but I know a guy that won a lot of money by betting that he could punch a windshield and break it.

  10. probably if they punched hard enough. i hit one before with a small stone with an electric edger and it broke the one in our van.

oh, and this is true too. you can choose to believe me or not. but we were goin on a long trip a couple years ago and my brother ripped a big f**t and it knocked the back window out on the highway.
