  1. hold the raquet in your hitting hand tight as you serve, relase your wrist power at the very top and whack the ball sort of like a wrist snap shot.......

but dont hold it so tight that u cant do anything else!

u can learn just by hitting a ball against a solid wall

and have it return to u

then you know how to chase down balls.

then you will learn what kind of power you have or not.

  2. ur supposed to hold the raquet loosely. but no to loose. it shouldn;t be tilting. its just how ur hitting the ball

  3. Hold it tight enough so that it doesnt tilt when you hit a ball.

Also, hold it really tight if you want to hit a fast ball.

  4. Hold the raquet so it doesn't spin in your hand, but it sounds like your problem isn't your grip but your wrist strength.  Try keep your wrist from bending when you hit the ball.  Another problem could be that you are trying to hit the ball too hard which also leads to your wrist turning.

  5. your racket tilts when the ball hits it because your wrist is flimsy. the wrist has nothing to do with your grip. don't over-grip it as that can lead to messing up the hits further and also to hand troubles. try tightening your wrist whenever you prepare to hit the ball.

    thanks!

    hope i helped!

    :)

  6. Hold it like you would hold a frying pan, not too tight or too loose. Think of shaking someone's hand. This is what I was told. Best of luck.

  7. For your forehand, lay the racket on the ground, then pick it up by the handle with your right hand, that'll give you the grip you want if you're hitting a forehand.  You'll notice that the racket isn't straight up and down, but tilted slightly forward... This is the method being taught now, it will help you put on topspin.

  8. I've been playing tennis for a while now, and you should should hold your racket like you're shaking someone's hand, so it should be tight but not like a death grip. :-)

  9. the racquet tilt because it wasn't stiff enough... not how hard you hold your racquet... you should feel comfortable when you hold it, so don't try to grip it as hard as you can or you might hurt your self (trust me, i did)...

i think you should buy another racquet..

  10. Be careful that you don't break the racquet!!

  11. you hold it so the raquet won't bend back. You should be  holding it pretty tight but not killing your hand tight. Unless if you are doing top spin it's a completely diferent thing.
