How tight is security on greyhounds?

how safe is it to take a greyhound bus 937 miles across the country? that would be 19-20 hours. i just want to know if creepy people go on greyhounds. like are they like the city bus?

i've taken the greyhound a lot, really, i happen to think it's fun.  i cant say i've ever been in an uncomfortable situation but just remember basic safety rules... dont talk to strangers, divide your money up in different pockets, ect.

they are not as bad as city buses but you can encounter a strange person here and there but for the most part it is safe.  You might also want to look into take a train that distance not sure where you are going but that is an option.

I take it you didnt hear about that guy that got beheaded as he slept on a Greyhound in Canada? There is no security! Bring a knife or something!
