Question:

How to 'iron' without an iron?

I have to wear a certain pair of pants today but they're really wrinkled and I don't know how to fix it.

I have no iron and no dryer, and it is like 90 degrees today (no AC) so putting them by the shower with hot water running isn't really an option.

Anybody have any other ideas on how to get them unwrinkled? They're cotton= sort of like khakis but lighter weight I'd guess?

  1. a steamer  instead of an iron

  2. Spritz them with water or lightly dampen them.  Give a good shake lay flat to let dry in the sun.

  3. put weight on the bottom and spray with water.

  4. Use the Downey Dewrinkler Spray. You can get it at Target or WalMart. :-)  Spray it, and then smooth out with your hand.

  5. Hey,

Misting them with water and letting them dry in the heat really should work - especially if you hang them up and shake them out every once in a while to release those stubborn wrinkles. Tell us how it works!

  6. it depends when u want to wear them i would put them under ur mattress overnight with ur weight should iron out the creases.

  7. Get a parter and tell him to grab one side and you grab the other and stretch. & it gets all the wrinkles out!!

  8. Do you have pants hangers? Just by hanging the ankle part of your pants on the pants hanger clips weighs the pants down because the heavier part of the pant (around the hips) is being pulled down by gravity. They spray it with a spray bottle of water (lightly, don't soak it). Let it dry and then shake it like "pop" to break out the other wrinkles. They sell this wrinkle releaser at the store, try it for next time, you just spray it on and pull the garment. Good luck!
