I use the USB drive connected to my Router. It is now accessible via FTP protocol.

Hi Rand

You get get PC anywhere or Reachout. They are very good and they even have an alarm if someone tries to intrude . What is good about it, you can be anywhere in the world and manipulate your computer as if you were in front of it.

You can even shut it down through the start menu although, LOL, I wouldn't recommend it.
