How to Ban a person who is NOT already a member of your group?

Question

I am a moderator of a group. How do I ban someone who is not already a member? I am aware of how to ban someone who is on my members list. But how do you do this if they are not on your members list?

banning is a moderator priviledge- guessing you have that  :)

click on members- you will see the tabs for moderators- bouncing and such, look above that to right ' Invite People | Remove | Ban | Download | Export' those are links- click the Ban link and you can insert the address/ ID of a person- then click the blue Ban member
