  1. that's wat if been trying to find out but people never answer the just say to put them in a cage

    how stupid is that

i think we no that part already

  2. This is want I have expeirence..Parakeets will lay eggs anywhere they can nest, happy huts, bowls ect..Some of mine just drop a egg.

But, if you really want to breed...

    1..get a pair.

2...place a nesting box on the out side of cage, you can get  a cage that has an extra side door just for hanging nesting box.

3..add some crush corn cob in the box for bedding

4..where the opening is at on the inside of cage somehow add another floor for the babies won't just fall out when they are ready to come out of nest..I have a wire floor attached with zip ties.

5.. and wait..it will happened...some eggs my not hatch do not worry just remove them later on.

    6. not each egg will hatch on the same time..mine sometimes hatches 3 to 4 days later..i can have 8 eggs in the box but only 3 hatch

7..now if you hand feed the babies e-mail and i will explain how i do it

    GOOD LUCK

  3. Oh boy! I would suggest searching the internet there are so many sites dedicated to parakeet breeding, which are made by devoted breeders who know what they're doing. Good luck

  4. Hi,

Yeah sure, you would need a nest box on the side of the cage with a layer of wood shavings oh and you would need a male. One problem which you may find is that one pair won't breed as you should always have two or three pairs as budgies get spurred on by the other budgies.

  5. 1)  Get two parakeets.

    2)  Get those parakeets to have s*x with each other.

  6. Even if you can successfully breed them, which is extremely hard to do and takes around-the-clock attention, do you have a plan for the youngsters?  If you are positively sure you have someplace good for them to go, and I'm not talking about the humane society, then here goes:  Start with a nesting box with plenty of materials to nest with.  Conditions need to be just right for them to breed.  Their first clutches will probably not be viable.  Patience is key!  They will also need special nutrition so their babies can be healthy... best buy a book on breeding and do lots of research so you know you have everything you need before you dive in head first.  Good luck!
