How to Burn an HD DVD

If I film with and HD camera do I need an HD/Blu-Ray DVD burner or will a regular work just fine.

If you need to have your movie in high definition, you will need to purchase a Blu-ray disc burner, but they can cost a lot of money.  The Blu-ray disc players also cost a lot of money and most homes don't have them.

Most of the US still purchase and watch SD television, so you could record, capture, and edit in HD and then render and export to standard SD DVDs.  This will allow you to render and export the movie in HD later.
