how do i calm my nerves before a football practice. I am stressed because I am a freshman but they moved me up to JV. If I make one mistake I am chewed out. How do I calm my nerves?

I have to go to practice in 15 minutes so please answer quickly.

  2. If you are ready your ready. They moved you up to J.V. because you have potential. Just relax practice is when your suppose to make mistakes so you do not do it in the game when it counts. Just RELAX.

  3. breathe deeply. if u get chewed out...so what. ppl mess up sometimes we are only human. u shouldnt be nervous because of what other ppl do or say. they may b the ones with the problem and not u. nobody was born knowing how to do everything and we all had to learn. u r learning now and at one point they were just like u. so dont take it too hard or personally.

  4. This might sound really silly, but it's how I calm myself down if I am really stressed out. I find a quiet area just to walk around in a few minutes. Even if it is just to walk around the perimeter of the building,it does the trick. Preferably a place with trees and flowers,but any quite area does the trick. Then just look into the sky as you walk and watch the clouds.Some reason it clears my brain of all the scrambled stuff that is causing it to begin with. Hope this helps.
