How to Capture TV (Tivo) footage into PC?

I have some footage on my Tivo. I want to capture it into my computer.

I can connect the Tivo's Audio/Video--OUT to my PC's USB ports. However, I'm not sure what programs will be able to capture this audio & footage.

Does NERO 8 have something for this maybe?

The easiest way is to use Tivo Desktop (free software that allows you to transfer shows between your computer and your Tivo).  The software will transfer your shows and put them on your hard drive in files with a *.tivo file extension.  Windows media player will be able to play the files.

If you have a video capture card in your computer you can use that to capture the output from your Tivo.  (usually not standard)
