Question:

How to Clean Shoes?-URGENT?

I recently brought a pair of $60 white formal shoes.

The other night after wearing them I got home to find that a black streak roughly 10cm long had made its way onto the top of the shoe. This black line (i am 99.99% sure is from the sole of another shoe).

Does anyone have any idea on how i can get this mark of without ruining the shoe.

Any help would be good.

  1. Dependent on what its made out of dawn grease fighting dish detergent works for everything from leather to suede.

  2. Here's an article that you might like:http://www.wikihow.com/Clean-White-Shoes

  3. I use windex on all my shoes.  It will even take out grease and oil.

  4. 1- tooth past and tooth brush - just brush really hard.

2- nail polish remover  and tooth brush or cleanx - same thing brush really hard and wipe the extra liquid that's left after you finished the first scrub and dipping you're tooth brush or cleanx again.

3- after all that fails but for sure it will make the black line lighter just get some white shoe polish..

the same thing happened to me but i have pink formals and they don't make shoe polish for that color pink so i had to change the color of the shoe =( and after i worked so hard on getting one of the shoes black mark all clean the other shoe was just to ruff =(
