How to Close Verizon Residential Phone Account Online????

Question

I would like to close my residential phone account from Verizon but I do not know where to go in their website. Is it possible for me to close my account online?

Also, I would like to have my phone number transferred to my mobile phone from cingular which is now At&T. Do I have to ask Verizon or At&T about this matter to keep my home phone number as my mobile?? Is there an extra charge to change phone number?

you cant!!

almost all phone providers wont let you go out easily!!   they wanna keep you a costumer under any circumstances....!

and, yes you can port your phone number for free!

you gotta tell Verizon to port your number...but I also would check with the cell provider, so everything goes smooth!!!

you can port landline and cellphone anytime...its the law!!
