Question:

How to Cruise? Veteran Cruisers?

How exactly does a cruise work? If you book on a site, like Travelocity or Expedia, is your airfare included in the price?

If not, is there a specific cruise booking site that will include the airfare?

When you pay in full at an online booking place, what exactly does that include? Are meals paid for?

And how do meals work? Are the restaurants always open, or is there a schedule to follow?

The cruise I am looking at goes to several places. Do you actually get off the ship in those places, or is it like a drive by where you stay on the ship the whole time?

Can anyone explain the basics of cruising to me? Thanks!
