Question:

How to Curb Rotting Teeth?

by  |  earlier

As I was brushing my teeth this morning I realised that there is a hole in the middle of one of my teeth and its rotting. I've stopped drinking soda all together and stopped eating candy. I don't have any dental insurance and cannot afford to see the dentist. I am getting insurance in about 4 months, but I don't want to lose my tooth. Any suggestions on how to curb my tooth from rotting anymore?

  1. Brush your teeth 3 times daily (hard, I know) floss, floss, floss! once daily, and I highly recommend using ACT Restoring Mouthwash, it restores the enamel on your teeth. Yes, avoid any liquids such as carbonated drinks, they're like acid to your teeth. And get a good amount of calcium, in a pill or through milk, to help strengthen your teeth because they're made of bone. And lots of prayer ;)

  2. Go to the Dentist and ask if he could fill your tooth and you will pay him gradually make an arrangment with his office how much you can pay each payday. Once you have Insurance then it will be less for you to pay, out of pocket.

  3. Nothing will stop it from rotting more, you could try going to a dental school were they usually base your payment on what you make. Thanks for not drinking soda and any other carbonated drinks. But you really have to see someone soon because it could lead to s serious infection. Your could still see a dentist and ask them to remove the decay a place a temporary filling until your insurance kicks in...Good Luck..
