  1. Yes, it was done before, but you have to come with a jeep or something like that, because you will get really bad not pavemented roads at central america. You'll have to come aside the pacifc ocean, up to Peru or Chile, an then cross the mountains to get to Brazil. There is no route aside the atlantic ocean.

Buy all the maps, call for updated info about roads conditions, plan everything. And good trip!!

  2. Yes, no problem. We did it. We drove from Houston, Texas

through all of Central America and shipped from Panama to

Colombia. THE most pleasantly surprise of our whole trip!!!

We just recently returned from Brazil in August. We traveled with 2 small children (Fabian 9, Mighalle 5) we had a Dodge Ram Dually 3500 and towed a 31ft Fifth Wheel! Now we agree, That is a bit big for the road considered the condition, which we often found to be the worst in the countries we thought it would be okay more or less (like Costa Rica where a lot of Americans are and so a lot of American money, or Panama where the Americans have been for so long, it seems that after they left the repairs on the roads stopped)

We have a website with newspaperlike stories on all the countries, a lot of slideshows and some movies. As of our adventures from Colombia there are English versions, the central American ones are in Dutch only (We are Dutch). If you have any more specific questions: Go ahead and shoot.

  3. Yes, it is possible but it is not very practical and would be 'very' expensive.I assume you know you would have to ship your car by boat from Panama in Central America to Colombia in South America to continue the journey.

I would suggest you find some books on the subject and do a little research first.
