~How to Deal with 'HATERS' !?~?

Well, I'm a pretty smart guy and blessed with many talents, & sometimes in class I give very well thought-out and intelligent answers that usually only the teacher understands; this leads to some students making false accusations to try to make me look bad in front of the teacher!! Btw, I 'DO' have lots of friends, the thing is I sometimes only focus on the haters.I heard a quote that, "Even the greatest leaders and minds had those who doubted, but they are known for the way in which they surpassed the excpectations of all." Another thing... I don't look very nerdy & I am one of the few African-Americans that excels at my school; so maybe that angers them...Well, Do they do this for 'kicks' or do they do this because I am on another level intellectually & how to I learn to ignore it?

no one person in the world is any better than anyone else so go forth and prosper learn to ignore the comments made about you they may be jealous of your talents there is nothing wrong with being able to acheive good stuff you are not holier than thou either

You are on the right track to success when you are hated. Treat "haters" like garbage trucks. They have their short comings, frustrations, envies,thoughts of bad wishes and they want to dump them on you. The way to live with that is to keep a smile on your face knowing that they will come back for your friendship when you made it in life. I bet that Barack Obama went that route and now... you guess the rest or better say the rest is history in the making

why focus on them?

I've been in your situation before- i took GCSE dance for some reason... and it's kind of seen as a doss subject at our school and it's fair to say most people in the class weren't really very bright, and were just interested in the more practical elements of the subject- and yeah most of them didn't get what i was talking about when i said stuff about the therory side of the professional dance works, and made me look stupid when really they were being stupid and the teacher knew exactly what i meant.

yeah just ignore them. don't let them know you're bothered by it though

try not to act too confident or sure of yourself though in case you come across as abit arrogant or something which could make them mock you even more.

maybe it's your "Holier- than- tho" attitude that they don't like. You acting like your better than everyone just because you're smarter. here's a tip, you're not. and If you keep up with that snotty attitude, you're one day going to find your self into a lot of trouble. And many people on here should be offended; "I am one of the few African-Americans that excels at my school". By you saying things like that, you are going to get in big trouble one day. Come off your high horse and realize that you're no better than anyone else. Maybe once you do, you will not have so many "Haters".
