How to Deal with Farmers Insurance Company?

I was hit by a farmers cleint and i have heard alot of bad things with this company anyone know what i should do or how to be prepaired to not get ripped off

I won't comment on Farmers as I have no direct experience with them (they aren't in Canada). But I recommend that you carefully document every conversation and everything that happens.  Make sure you date and time your notes and get the full name of everyone you speak with.  Also be sure to advise your insurer (and keep documents of that as well)

it really depends on how bad the accident was.  if it was minor, they won't hassle too much and if their client was at fault they should do right by you.  if it was a major claim they tend to want to drag things out a bit.  document everything.  if you start to have problems with the adjuster, get YOUR company involved and have them help you.
