Question:

How to Dress For ToysRus interview

Hi guys. I have an interview tomorrow with Toys R US...lol. Yeah, I like children, and toys. It reminds me of my childhood- and all the good times. How should I dress for the interview? Could I simply wear jeans and a shirt like I normally do? Should I wear a suit? Or somewhere in between? It's not like I'm interviewing for a corporate business position. What do you think?

  1. Dress as you would for any other job interview. Nice shoes, slacks and a clean, crisp button down dress shirt. This shows you are serious about the job-- even though it's a toy store.

  2. Never dress in jeans or street clothes for an interview.  Khaki or slacks with a nice shirt would be appropriate.  They say dress for the job that you want

  3. Dress casually but not inappropriately like shirts with vulgar words or images I think that's a given though.

  4. school uniform

  5. wear colorful clothing

  6. When I was eighteen, I interviewed for a job at Wal-Mart.  I think I wore khakis and a nice sweater.

I think a good rule of thumb would be to dress just a little more nicely than you would dress for a day at the job you are interviewing for.

    Good luck.

  7. It's always better to be too dressed up than not enough.  You probably won't need a suit, but slacks, nice shoes, shirt & a tie would probably be good.  It also shows you know how to look professional...such goes good with your passion, and may raise your possibilities for promotion later on.

  8. i would not wear jeans nor a suit.  i would wear khakis or trousers with a button down shirt or collared tshirt.  you want to say, i'm taking this seriously by not wearing jeans.   a suit would be over the top.

  9. Dress up as Jeffrey the giraffe!

  10. OMG!!!

    Clown costume!!!! lol

I wish the best of luck in your interview!!

Comfy clothes, no slogan clothes. Wear jeans and a "smart" looking long sleeved shirt (that you'd wear with a suit) and a tie. This will give you a casual yet "I'm-ready-for-business" look.

Hmmmm, with shoes wear the type you'd wear with a suit, or black lace-ups, or even black skate shoes but make sure they are tied up properly and not scuffing.

I so wish you good luck in this job XD
