  1. what you mean by extracting?

usually it is uploading to an sd card....

p.s. extracting usually used for ziped files.

however you should have an adapter/reader for your sd card

it is eather build in your laptop or PC or separate.

you stick your SD card into the adopter, you stick the adapter in your usb port like that the computer will treat ur SD card reader as a normal extended memory were you could upload files that can be read by your computer.

  2. Step1

Create a temporary home for the files currently existing on your memory card. To do this, click “My Computer” on your desktop. Double-click on any local drive to browse files and folders.

    Step2

Create a new folder on your local drive and give it a suitable name, such as “Card Reader Content.” Ensure that the name is easy to remember and identify.

    Step3

Connect your flash memory card to your computer’s card memory slot.

    Step4

Use ActiveSync to complete the synchronization work.

    Step5

Go to the folder containing the contents of the flash memory card.

    Step6

Select all the contents in that folder. Choose “Select All” from the “Edit” menu on the top-left of your screen, or single-click each file while holding down the “Ctrl” key. Right click on the mouse and choose the “Copy” from the menu.

    Step7

Browse to the “Card Reader Content” folder in the explorer window. Find the “Edit” button and click “Paste.”

    Step8

Wait for the computer to copy files onto its hard drive. This process may take a while if the file size is large. Once the transfer is complete, the files from the flash memory card reader will be copied to your computer.

    Step9

Close the window and safely unplug your flash memory card from its slot.

  3. Right click on the compressed file and select "Extract All". The wizard will ask you where you want to extract them to and suggest the current folder. Click the little down arrow thingy to reveal the drop down menu list or select "Browse". You can then browse to the mounted SD card and select it or make a folder on it to extract to. Then click "extract" or OK.

No bull, that's really how to do it! :)
