How to Fix my crashed laptop??

Question

I have a Compaq X1000, while i was on facebook one day i was confronted with a backdoor for a hacker to get on my computer...it crashed. but now i can turn the screen on but it goes black and says "disk read error, press ctrl, alt, del to restart" when i do that the computer restarts but then goes right back to that screen, and i u press the keys for a certain period of time it, the keys will start to beep when u press them.

what can i do???????

Honestly i don't know a solution for this but my computer has crashed several times due to trojans and all that good (bad) stuff. If your computer is under warranty(you would be dumb not to get this if you use the computer a lot) geek squad would send the computer to the manufacturer and they'd replace the hard drive for free. Or you can call compaq and ask if they can ship out a new hard drive to u.

I have a vostro 1400 dell laptop and mine crashed. i beleive my laptop crashed because of bad websites though. me and my friend thought it would be pretty funny to check out p**n websites and it the next time i tried to use it, it would not turn on. my computer said the same thing yours does. i honestly dont know what you could do to help your computer besides contacting a computer store and explaining your problem...but if you find out any ways to fix your laptop i would really appreciate it if you could contact me and notify me about it. i would like it if my laptop got running again. lol. ive only had it for a few months before it crashed. thanx again. if you need my number to call or anything my number is [phone] and my name is Rachael. when you start the computer you see the logo of the brand right? there might be a repair or something icon there. press the buttons it tells you to press. then a screen will come up saying repair. you'll lose everything on your computer but your computer will be fixed. you might even be able to save some files you would want to save. hope i helped.
