How to Get Closed Caption from file xx.tivo?

Question

I just got the Tivo HD last month

I use "Tivo Desktop" to get the media file from Tivo

but I can't get the CC when I'm playing the files on my computer.

is there any way to extract the closed caption to text file?

or any software can show CC when I play these medias.

I use KMP or Media Player Classic, thanks

Hi CC,

I have never been able to get the closed captions to work unless they are turned on when I record and then they can't be turned off on the recording.

As far as extracting them I never even thought to try that but I wouldn't know where to start.
